Guys, here is last weekend’s adventure. A friend and fellow member of the Granbury Flywheelers (antique tractor and engine club) called me and said while looking for antique garden tractor parts at a closed-up small engine shop in Blum, TX, he saw 8 or ten antique outboards. The owner had died and the man taking care of the place priced a package deal on the lot. He made arrangements for me and Ben McCauly to meet. When we got there he priced any boat motor or boat related item for the same set price. It was like a Easter Egg hunt!!. There were 22 motors in all with lots of parts scattered over about an acre – and all this mixed in with lawn mower junk. My poor little truck was overfull. Check out the pictures. Also sent some pics of the nicest motors and some parts. We got lots of swapmeet material. I already have the Haiwatha running. See y’all at John Slators, Tony Robinson.
