My grandson Jack Toole 8 years old and I have been building an 8′ Minimost for the past month.
It is from the same set of plans my granddaughter Emma and I built hers from in 2006, when she was 5 years old.
The video clip I sent to the website was of Emma’s boat with Jack driving.
Jack very much wants to display his new boat at the January 2016 Houston Boat Show, maybe with the 1750 Black Max 175 HP!
Nevertheless, the boat will be powered by either his 1959 3hp Evinrude 6 mph or 1985 6 hp Evinrude on the water. With a kill switch!
Looking for a remote control adapter for the 6 hp, not an easy item to find. The older 6 hp adapter are easy to find, not this one.
