1958 Evinrude Fleetwin 7.5 one owner. The motor was given to me by the original owner’s son to avoid sending it to the junk pile and I have it running well. The cowl is not dented and the new owner can do a cosmetic restoration.
What I did:
- Converted it to a Mikuni fuel pump
- New fuel lines and carburetor packing, single line fuel connector
- New intake gaskets
- Cleaned the reed plate
- Good used coils
- Cleaned and reset points and checked the condensers
- New plug wires, boots, and spark plugs
- Good waterpump impeller
- New gear oil in lower unit
